Vision of a geisha sublimated and deformed by anamorphosis. The Kimono becomes a poetic adornment. It evokes confusion and mystery. The jets of color constituting an abstract background articulate with the subject which is figurative and metaphorical. the background is made with an acrylic color jet and then taken up in oil.

Patrick Guicheteau is an experienced painter and sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Japan. In his diverse compositions, women are allegories of life in the universe. Guicheteau describes his artistic process as being marked by the interaction and the articulation of various elements, which aim to provoke, in the contraction of a single image, "the poetic effect and the definitive impact" of the piece.
