About this artwork
Pagan goddess with two haloed heads holding the forbidden fruit in her hands. A game of paradox between the sacred and the pagan. The subject is strong but playful. The red is powerful, this two-headed woman is beautiful but strange, the symbols are strong but in the blink of an eye.

« Don't take yourself too seriously. On the other hand, I think I have created a particular and atypical universe where I recognize myself. »
Patrick Guicheteau is an experienced painter and sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States and Japan. In his diverse compositions, women are allegories of life in the universe. Guicheteau describes his artistic process as being marked by the interaction and the articulation of various elements, which aim to provoke, in the contraction of a single image, "the poetic effect and the definitive impact" of the piece.
