Patrick Mauxion is a painter and architect. He mixes realism and impressionism, pop art and street art in his practice. He uses various techniques, deploys vibrant colors and infuses a captivating light. His paintings explore the duality and ambiguity between the conscious and the unconscious, the real and the imaginary, the objective and the subjective, producing an emotion of competing paradoxes.
He exhibits in galleries in Europe, in painting exhibitions such as Artbox-Expo at the Venice Biennale, Art Basel at Miami Art Week in Florida or in Contemporary Art Festivals in Asia.
His works have been listed since 2020 and have been selected by contemporary art museums such as the Pinacothèque du Luxembourg, the Haegeumgang Theme Museum and the Yukyung Art Museum in South Korea.
