About this artwork
There are 64 individual "mini" circles forming a grid within the painting. 64 is also a title of a Beatles song. The painting was developed/composed with a series of digital images (patterns) with a layered circle in the center. I then place the 64 circles overtop the composition. Why circles? For me the circle represents the infinity, no beginning and no end. It is also a place for meditation or contemplation. It also is the source of geometric…

Patrick Schmidt is an artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally and in Italy.
