About this artwork
The works in which I use the word "Esquitx" (Splash) in the title are those where a small detail defines the painting's character. I have a predilection for details in my work. I'm interested in the tiny dots left by a splash, the brushstrokes that aren't immediately visible, the drops that define the background of a painting, the streaks of water on the canvas, and the grains of sand that seem to be absent from the paint but are the small elements…
that give it detail.
I like to pay attention to detail and I always say that in any work, even in a child's drawing that fills a moment of leisure, there is always a centimeter of absolute work of art.
