About this artwork
With "Depth", the silent poetry of the abyss is represented through this jellyfish in relief, with its slender and vibrant forms.
The tentacles seem to float beyond the frame, as if carried by an invisible current. This physical escape, which has become my signature, reflects the constant desire to break down boundaries and invite the viewer's gaze to go beyond.
The background, a deep blue mixed with dark shades, creates an almost cosmic halo,… as if the light were born from the very movement of the creature.
The subtle colors slipped into the filaments add a touch of life, of mystery, a furtive sparkle that can only be perceived upon closer inspection.
Between painting and sculpture, "Depth" captures a suspended moment: the grace of a marine creature whose slow dance speaks of infinity. An immersive, hypnotic work that invites us to plunge into the heart of what we never see… but only sense.
