Series of Mono no Awaré, a Japanese aesthetic concept tells us to find beauty in anything aging, dying, decaying, being destroyed, and disappearing because they are inherent with them.
When my friend found this piece of wood and gave it to me, I was so happy to use it because I could connect its twisted form with my life. We learn a lot from nature but also, can share some fundamental emotion attached to it.
