Cannon Beach, Oregon, USA is one of the artist's favorite vacation places. He really enjoys the colors that shine through even in stormy sunsets. This painting is part of a series called "Moods of Highway 101" which is a beautiful coastal highway the winds through the full length of the USA West coast. Most of it runs right next to the ocean beaches and wind swept forests.

His abstract, semi-abstract, and realistic works are most often created with acrylics, oils, or watercolors.
