Paul Piccolini uses photography as his sole medium, drawing on a self-taught approach that began during a trip to Australia. Based in Paris, he works in fine art photography with a minimalist approach where serenity and movement converge. His images reveal deserted places or those vaguely inhabited by fleeting silhouettes, straddling the line between architectural and street photography. From the Louvre Pyramid to the banks of the Seine at dusk, he captures the soul of the City of Lights in his meticulously framed compositions. His work exudes a gentle melancholy tinged with hope, inviting the viewer to appreciate the beauty of silence amidst the world's hustle and bustle. His limited-edition prints, created using digital photography on fine art paper, are offered framed and ready to hang.
