About this artwork
Rotation of the stars around the solar god, gigantism for us, stardust in the universe, he burns us with his presence or freezes us with his absence, great steward of the cycle of life, this title gives it a special place in the desert of galaxies.

« It is necessary to have chaos in oneself to give birth to a dancing star. -Nietzsche »
Paul Picka is a French painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium and Morocco. He describes his art as being introspective, a search for balance, a perception of the totality of the soul, its completeness as much as its emptiness. Picka's spheres evoke the precision of geometry, the engineering of nature and its forms, while also depicting all of its imperfections, and the explosive chaos that precedes creation.
