Art critic Estelle Lovatt reviewed the exhibition on the BBC saying 'He’s a master of light. An extraordinary skill and an extraordinary eye. He's like an owl’.

« I'm a painter exploring the 'Edge of London,' where the city ends and the countryside begins. »
Paul Regan is a passionate British painter whose works have featured in a range of prizes, publications and exhibitions throughout London. He paints the things he notices when walking his dog in North London, at the intersection of city, highway and countryside. Primarily interested in how light effects how one responds to a place, he composes paintings that depict streetlights, twilight and the way light sits between nature and urban elements within a suburban setting. Regan's overall aesthetic appears immersive and nostalgic, at once empty and thoroughly lived in.
