I love playing with simple shapes and vibrant colors and there is nothing more joyful than when that play comes together to create a whole that is seemingly greater than its parts. Art can be a way to glimpse what is possible in what may seem ordinary.

Paul Westacott is a painter, draftsman, and printmaker based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally. In addition, his art has been featured in publications such as Voyage LA. Westacott is fascinated by the power of light and color with regard to memory, the subconscious, and emotions. Through his minimalist and vibrant compositions, his hope is that his pieces act as portals and are "a way to tap into the transformative power of art".
