About this artwork
The inspiration for this work was my artistic curiosity for exploring new mediums and new places. This adventurous side of artistic experimentation was really initiated through this large Greek painting after my first artist residency in Kavala in the spring of 2025. The painting was a process that took a lot of time and saw me through many adventures and changes in my life. While working on this painting, I anticipated my first artist residency,…
lived and traveled abroad, returned home and then relocated again. The various techniques and the expansiveness of the painting all reflect the personal journey I took while working on it.
