About this artwork
In this piece, I explored the tension between shapes and colors to convey both movement and calm. The blues and reds vibrate against the black background, creating a dynamic dialogue that invites reflection. I wanted to capture the abstract essence of energy, bringing a sense of depth, balance, and inner strength to your space.

Paula Nahmod uses painting as her primary medium, merging her background in architecture, visual arts, and sound. Her works explore spaces of distorted and fragmented architecture, employing geometric abstraction while drawing on multiple styles, techniques, and layers of information. Through her paintings, she seeks to evoke in the viewer a sense of dissociation, overwhelming feeling, and bewilderment, inviting them to expand their perceptions and explore a multidimensional reality brimming with possibilities.
