« I am nothing without observation and creation. My artworks are identical to my current dilemmas. »
Paulina Jolda is an artist based in Poland who has exhibited her paintings nationally, as well as in Germany, Spain, and the United States. She is especially interested in humans and their sociological conditions. Jolda often wonders if our species has evolved because the main driving forces of hunger, sexual libido, violence, and belonging to a social group are still the same. She employs the metaphor of a snake (exploiter) and a worm (exploited) to depict two opposing forces.
