Paulina Taranek is an exciting Polish painter with international exposure. Her paintings shift from expressionist to impressionist in style, and she delves into stories of the human experience - experiences, memories, habits, emotions and environments. Taranek's series of cityscapes present urban environments stripped of their photographic accuracy, brought to life instead through exaggerated, saturated colors in order to comment on pressing contemporary issues such as air pollution.
