Paulo Jimenez is a Costa Rican artist who became fascinated by tropical landscapes when he moved to Florida (U.S.A.) as a teenager. His vibrant paintings primarily depict fruit still lifes, coastal and tropical scenes, as well as the figure. Through his art, Jimenez attempts to understand the relationship between humanity and the wilderness. He views nature as eternal and the only consistent part of a person's life.
