I have wanted to do another series of color reduction woodcuts since the first and so 8 years later…
I grew up with a print making father who made wood engravings and silk screen prints. I worked for him for 8 years in the pouchoir department and inherited his Filbar machine . Peggy Grose, a painter, printmaker, sculptor, and visual artist, draws from generations of family artistry and hands-on education in fine art, sign painting, and mural work. She explores diverse techniques—particularly collage—mixing her own paper elements with pictorial and plastic ideas, blending daily surroundings into visually dynamic compositions. Her art radiates connection, evoking deep joy and contemplative sadness, inspired by the fleeting richness of life and the vitality of the natural world.
