About this artwork
She was inspired by the flight of peacocks. Their bodies are heavy but they soar through the air weightlessly. The beautiful moment they open their wings when they prepare for landing. She hopes the viewers can feel heavy and deep emotions but also feel uplifted.

« Rather than do art for monetary value or fame, I as an artist would like to inspire my viewers with a soft message that they could take with them or cherish. Art is freedom and freedom rings with effort. »
Peggy Lee is an experienced American painter who has exhibited her work nationally. In a fast-moving, heavily technological world, she values the opportunity provided by art to slow down and look at one's inner self with ease and acceptance. Her abstract works are thus created slowly but surely, and showcase intriguing figures, interesting textures and impressive visual depth.
