Pelayo Ortega is an award-winning painter and printmaker based in Spain whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in France, and Monaco and the USA. With a career spanning over forty-five years, he describes the central theme of his compositions as being "its own essence", wherein, the creative work responds fundamentally to the idiosyncrasy of art itself. Ortega's most recent abstractions were created using acrylics, oils, pastels, and charcoal on canvas and paper.
