About this artwork
In this painting, I sought to capture the intensity and concentration of a moment suspended between thought and action. I used bold colors and vibrant brushstrokes to express the boy's energy and emotional tension, as if time were standing still around him. I want the viewer to feel the power of the present and the intimacy of a meaningful pause. The technique employed is deliberately textural; I favored broad, thick brushstrokes, almost sculptural…
at times, which leave a clear trace of color on the canvas. This stylistic choice isn't aimed at photographic perfection, but rather at evoking a sensation, an immediate emotion.
