About this artwork
An urban collage portrait of rapper Ninja from the South African band Die Antwoord. This portrait is made from paper sourced in Berlin. When I was in Berlin I stumbled upon a Die Antwoord tourposter hanging on the wall. I took it and gathered other postermaterial in Berlin to make this portrait. Ninja has 16 tatooed under his eyes, instead of painting the numbers I carved them out of the papercollage. I love the Die Antwoord concept; music, art,…
