About this artwork
The race at Daytona was the beginning, but it ended as a space race in post-cubist space. The idea of the three vertical elements as in a crucifixion was an emotional challenge and I thought this was a perfect painting to express that.

Peter Bardazzi is a contemporary artist based in the United States whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Spain and Japan.
