« Creating new pictorial layers over found images, thus, opening access to an infinite number of new and subjective possibilities of interpretation. »
Peter Buechler is a painter, photographer, and sculptor based in Germany whose works have been featured in solo exhibitions nationally, in Switzerland and the United States. His artistic practice is marked by the exploration of images and the questioning of their effects, as well as how they move us. In particular, Buechler investigates the result of the manipulation of seemingly banal objects and what it is we think we know.
