About this artwork
In my artwork I have worked with watercolor and ink on paper to capture the pure and natural essence of a simple yet captivating object. My intention was to create an almost tangible texture through naive brushstrokes and impressionistic elements and to underline the subtle beauty in the everyday. This work exudes an attractive, vibrant energy that will enrich your living space with a calming yet inspiring atmosphere.

Peter Crestani is a Swiss artist whose works have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Describing his art as lyrical, his unique style "surfs" between many. For example, a figurative piece can inspire him just as much as abstract work. Crestani creates in series, he translates the poetry of everyday life through non-representational pictures that tell a hidden story. He paints using oils, acrylics, and watercolors on canvas, wood, or paper.
