About this artwork
In this work, watercolor and ink mix to create an impressionistic play of colors and shapes. I tried to capture the fleeting beauty and raw energy of nature. The gentle brushstrokes and dynamic lines are intended to take the viewer on a sensual journey and convey the essence of the landscape. Peter Crestani is a Swiss artist whose works have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Describing his art as lyrical, his unique style "surfs" between many. For example, a figurative piece can inspire him just as much as abstract work. Crestani creates in series, he translates the poetry of everyday life through non-representational pictures that tell a hidden story. He paints using oils, acrylics, and watercolors on canvas, wood, or paper.
