About this artwork
The present motif, titled "Forrest," did not originate from a predetermined idea, but rather is a further development of the pictorial form from abstraction to motif. The motif emerges from the imaginative handling of color, form, and composition, transforming into a vibrant, colorful organism. The trees signify the boundary between this world and the afterlife. The house becomes a symbol for one's true home in the afterlife.

From 1981 to 1985, a four-year training course at the renowned art school near Basel under the direction of B. Assenza (participant in the Venice Biennale in 1937) – teaching qualification with diploma in painting and drawing – further training at the Zurich University of the Arts
