About this artwork
The work is a self-ironic symbol of the technical wrestling with different artistic disciplines. Just as the Dream of Paradise differs in content, the work also technically stands on the border between drawing and (acrylic) painting: while the composition is just held up by the crumbling rhythm of the strokes, the colored surface is only visible in the poster on the wall realized.
