About this artwork
The work is in transition between 2 series; it reflects music culture and the drug abuse that often accompanies it. Pharmaceutical products for psychological fine adjustment are ironically compared here to a band rehearsal in which the actors have to be coordinated and harmonized so that there is no hangover. In the background, in sharp contrast, we see a Madonna after Hans Memling as an ironic reference to the worlds that often lie between the different…

Peter Feiler is an experienced painter and draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Denmark, France, Turkey, Australia, etc. He views his art as a journey into an unknown world, while also being a critique of civilization, "touching the wound of social decline". Feiler's artisitc process fuses big gestures with fine details.
