About this artwork
This painting is depicting a landscape of a town in Umbria which is a district in Italy. The colors are covered what gives the picture its rural outlook. As in more paintings of this artist, the prominent black line is just one single line, with only one beginning and one end, end never crossing.
It shows the landscape in autumn which gives the hills a yellow and brown outlook.
The 1st additional photo shows the artwork in a black wooden frame,… which fits well with the single black line in the painting. The 2nd following additional photo shows the be-ginning and the end of the single black line. The 3rd and 4rth show how the single line is used for shaping the landscape.
