About this artwork
The american owl uses red white and blue to denote it's american. The owl is always used to assert it's wiseness. Here I try to accent the mouth because the United States has become the target of bad actors who want to create a divide in our country. The wise owl will have to outsmart the forces that are now against our way of life.

Peter Locascio is an American artist whose works have been widely exhibited in the United States. He believes that creating art is more of a spiritual journey than a materialistic one. Locascio's compositions are inspired by Aboriginal, Native American, and Hindu art forms, etc. While some of his pieces convey narratives, others are simply whimsical.
