About this artwork
Christina interviewed me for a spot in the MFA program at the Art Institute. She gave me a chance because she felt my work needed to be seen. She presented me to the review committee and they gave me a resounding yes to attend the MFA program at the School fo the Art Institute of Chicago. Peter Locascio is an American artist whose works have been widely exhibited in the United States. He believes that creating art is more of a spiritual journey than a materialistic one. Locascio's compositions are inspired by Aboriginal, Native American, and Hindu art forms, etc. While some of his pieces convey narratives, others are simply whimsical. He favors painting with oils on canvas.
