About this artwork
This painting was created from a dream I had about a deceased relative who visited me. The image was done trying to recollect what I had seen in the dream. This painting was bought by a retired dentist that lives in Lake Forest, Illinois. I went to his house to install the painting for him. He really enjoyed the imagery.

Peter Locascio is an American artist whose works have been widely exhibited in the United States. He believes that creating art is more of a spiritual journey than a materialistic one. Locascio's compositions are inspired by Aboriginal, Native American, and Hindu art forms, etc. While some of his pieces convey narratives, others are simply whimsical.
