About this artwork
He has used the chainsaw, a great Canadian icon, for many years in his work. This piece optimistically represents the opposite of what a chainsaw is known for and the cutting bar is reforested reminding one of Jung's term "Enantiodromia" (if you push something to its extreme, it becomes its opposite!)
