About this artwork
Handmade one-off by the Hamburg painter Peter Nottrott.
The wall sculpture is like a sum of the various artistic development phases of Peter Nottrott.
Starting with realistic painting (e.g. tubes of paint), he moved on to surreal painting (e.g. painted shadows to create spatial depth) to abstract painting (motif on canvas). For this purpose, he created a spatial perspective with the external shape of the sculpture as well as with the structure… of the sculpture (e.g. canvas shape), the different types of wood and the accessories (both real and painted brushes). The object invites its viewer to discover it. It has a rear suspension for screw heads.
