About this artwork
From the series ‘Abstract black’. The question that I now ask myself after about 5 years of working with spatial collages is: 'Can I express myself exclusively in matte black paint, glue and styrofoam and only using blades, ruler and brushes'. I wrote this decision, or concept, at 5 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2020. I will make about 100 black works. This is number 18. Material: only matte black paint, glue and styrofoam.
