About this artwork
The foundation of the city is a collage from 1984. Paper, cardboard, photocopies, glue, paint, wood and plexiglass. Born from my experience of the city of New York, where I lived. Intuitive work. The idea that I was walking in New York and that there are so many other worlds down there that you don't see at street level, the foundation of the city.
