About this artwork
The title of this work is triptych. A triptych showing an abstract city scape, a kind of New York, where I have lived and worked. The work is made of pastel and acrylic paint on mounted linen and because pastel is so fragile, I added windows of glass for the work. Normal the windows are closed, but to look better to the work and even smell it, you can open these windows. This allows the viewer to make the distance smaller to this work. In 1989 Peter…
