About this artwork
In this work I used repetition – circles that lie across the surface like orbits. Each imprint is similar, but not identical. I am interested in this tension between order and imperfection.
For me, circles symbolize movement, cycles, and recurring thoughts. They appear calm, almost meditative, yet they bear traces of pressure, materiality, and resistance. Nothing is smooth. Everything has friction.
The color palette remains earthy and muted –… as if time itself had wiped across the surface. In the center, the warm tones intensify, almost like an energetic field. Towards the edges, it becomes quieter, more diffuse.
"Orbital Reflections" is a painting about recurrence – about circling around themes, memories, and decisions. We often move in familiar patterns, consciously or unconsciously. And yet, each cycle changes our perspective slightly.
