About this artwork
In this work, I didn't paint the light – I revealed it.
The surface is multi-layered, almost fragile. Circles repeat themselves like quiet signs, yet they recede, becoming more transparent, more permeable. I am not interested here in the structure as order, but as a trace – as something that inscribes itself in the material and then disappears again.
Between the cool grays and earth tones, delicate, warm nuances unfold. A touch of rosé, of gold,… of soft ochre – like light breaking through mist. Nothing is loud, nothing imposes itself. Everything whispers.
"Whispers of Light" is a painting about the subtle, the barely perceptible. About those moments when brightness doesn't dazzle, but touches. Light as memory, as intuition – not as a beam, but as a quiet echo on the surface.
