About this artwork
Another colourful component of the "What's in A Cat's Mind Series" of paintings, this depicts absolute confusion during a dream sequence by the calico cat, "Alberta". A nightmare of sorts with strange seafaring creatures floating in a jumble of brain-twisting shapes and colours. Will this puzzle sort itself by the time Alberta wakes? Only the cat knows.

Phil Dynan is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited his works throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 50 years, he has experimented with varying styles and mediums. Having mainly used serigraphy and acrylics in his art, he now paints using water-based oils, which facilitates blending. Dynan also creates mixed-media sculptures made from birchwood and plaster.
