About this artwork
Nugoro is a very happy donkey who lives with the artists. He is part of their "Accidental Animal Rescue Center" in Northern California. The artists paint these portraits because they know the animals very well. The proceeds from sales go to feeding and caring for the animals.

Phil Dynan is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited his works throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 50 years, he has experimented with varying styles and mediums. Having mainly used serigraphy and acrylics in his art, he now paints using water-based oils, which facilitates blending. Dynan also creates mixed-media sculptures made from birchwood and plaster.
