About this artwork
A group of about 30 students were ignoring the art in the Tate, every student involved with their electronic device. Some students were texting each other from across the room. None of them noticed me studying them and drawing. The Miro exhibit must have looked better online? (But it looked great to me!)

Phil Dynan is an American painter and sculptor who has exhibited his works throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. With a career spanning over 50 years, he has experimented with varying styles and mediums. Having mainly used serigraphy and acrylics in his art, he now paints using water-based oils, which facilitates blending. Dynan also creates mixed-media sculptures made from birchwood and plaster.
