The irregular has been created. It has become a reality on the empty nothingness of the painting surface. I know that I must restrain myself. I must not limit it. I must not take away its form. I must not make it into something figurative. Because a formal determination would be its death. It needs the freedom of imagination,

otherwise it is no longer identical with itself;

otherwise… it becomes a part of me;
•
what has become becomes what is made.
