Philipp Stöckl, also known as "Substanz," is a 44-year-old artist born in Munich. As a painter, he is listed in the Contemporary Art section under Philipp Stöckl 1981 Munich. He received his training at, among other places, the German Pop Academy. With his paintings, predominantly created using a palette knife, he reveals hidden worlds to the viewer, worlds concealed in the realm normally invisible to the human eye. Inspired by spectral colors and the desire to transcend the limits of human perception, he explores a spectrum through filters. In almost all his paintings, he uses fluorescent colors, which in turn can open another gateway to a further dimension.
