About this artwork
Nothing is more exciting for me than catching the last rays of the sun as they appear to chase the waves and glisten against the rocks. The air becomes almost tangible with colour and depth for a few brief moments prior to disappearing behind the horizon. A moment to cherish and allow reflection upon the day. With my sketchbook in hand I make speedy drawings and notes to remind me when returning to my studio of how I felt and sensed this particular…
time spent. PLEASE NOTE one of the images shows a triptych of 3 paintings which is purely to illustrate how these art pieces could be hung together.
