Philippe Gentils, an award-winning painter who resides in France, has exhibited nationally as well as in China and the United States. Gentils' art seeks a balance between figuration and abstraction, as a suggestion but never an imposition. His works are rooted in the contemplation of nature and the spirit of the elements. He uses the golden ratio and Fibonacci suite in the composition of his pieces. He works in acrylics on deliberately pixelated digital print on canvas.
