Fishing scene that unfortunately we no longer see today on the beaches of Collioure.
In the 1960s and 1970s, the artist witnessed the repair of nets by fishermen's wives, sitting on the beach, with their scarves. These same women who prepared the anchovies, so famous, of this small Catalan village.
You can see the "green lighthouse" in the background.
A beautiful material, beautiful lights and an impeccable state of the painting, while it is already… 42 years old.
The canvas is even older and deserves to be framed.
The bluish color of the additional photos corresponds to a different light, the canvas was photographed on a bright sunny day.
