« Art is the pursuit of the infinite, it is arcane, it is magic. Its practices are metaphysical activities, similar to religious magic. »
Philippe Jamin is a French painter and sculptor whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom. His works speak of the union of couples and explore themes relating to love, passion, sensuality, tenderness, complicity, the beauty of bodies, etc. Jamin believes that painting is the art of silence and of sustained attention. His painterly compositions are created with oils on canvas, and he employs marble, resin, and bronze in his sculptural pieces.
