« At the bottom of the unknown to find something new. - Baudelaire »
Philippe Lagaillarde abandoned his law studies for art and believes that you should never stop doing what’s important to you. The French artist views painting as a ‘long improvisation’, in which he takes into account the following: form, timbre, intensity, breathing, sensuality, rhythm, violence, space, fragility, and mystery. To create his vibrantly colorful pieces, he blends his own colors using high-quality pigments and acrylics, arriving at the colors and intensity he envisions.
